The LX 5000/700x series have the ability to store multiple tasks within the device memory, this function is separate then task declaration. When flying I like having the task in the LX and on the PDA, as it stands right now I have to program the task in twice. It would be nice to have XCSoar send the task to the LX instrument so that it can be stored in the device memory. With the planned support for .cup files this will become less cumbersome as the task planing can be done in SeeYou? and then transferred to XCSoar on a memory card and uploaded to the device using ConnectMe?, but being able to do the task planning in XCSoar and uploading it to the LX would the ultimate solution.
