Description
When you have a lot of landable places in some area in your waipoints/airfields file, than it can become disorganized, when all labels for all landabple places is shown. It displays airfield name and predicted height of arrival. But when you are heigh enough, you are not considering outlandings. Also, when you are flying a task, and heading somewhere, you are not interested in landing point behind you (when you are high enough). So in such times these information is not important for you, but it will occupy a large portion of the displayed map.
It will be great, if there will be easily accessible button for turning these labels ON and OFF. So pilot can decide to turn it OFF, when he is "on the go", and turn it ON when he is considering outlanding.
Maybe some heuristics could also apply, for example:
- when in 'Abort task' mode, turn it ON
- when below some threshold AGL altitude, turn it ON
- during the task, when the pilot is high enough, turn it OFF
- during the task, when descended to some altitude, turn it ON just for ladable places in front of glider (and/or in area "towards" the next waypoint).

xcsoar 6.1 has the ability to restrict the number of WP labels displayed (either via system settings dialog or a quick setting via the shortcut menu). See commit 93f49524404d836b86ae7a1b5021c7ca2ce513a4.
