Here's an idea for a feature. I'd like to be able to tell XCsoar which wing or hanglider or sailplane I'm flying and have it gather data during flights (speed, descent rate) to build up a polar curve (and MacCready? value) specific to that wing/aircraft.

Before launching I'd enter which wing I'm flying so it could build multiple profiles (I have 2 paraglider wings). It would also be useful for people that fly both Hang Gliders and Paragliders.

It could then store that data, (checking it over time, perhaps tracking the performance of the paraglider wing as it ages) and use that data to generate an accurate MacCready? number and recommend speed to fly for tasks.

Big job I think.
