TODO Notes for Version 5.0 Release
- Prepare an announcement for xcsoar-users, xcsoar-devel, news on sourceforge page - SCOTT
- Update image to 'promote' version 5 - also review image on WIKI (too wide) - Amanda (via SCOTT)
- Me to commit all screenshots and .tex files used in the documentation, so people can use this to update the website. - JOHNNY
- Upload screenshots to WIKI, update WIKI used images (not many, could do with some more)
- Move bugs from existing bug system on sourceforge to bugzilla, and make announcement that all bugs should go on bugzilla. Shut down sourceforge bug system. NOTE: I read somewhere you can enable anonymous bug create. If not though we can do a form that can ! Personally I would prefer at least an email, but am flexible.
- Update Quick for new Images, and any general notes on important changes to quick start, ditto for Settings - JOHNNY & SCOTT
- Update image on front page - JOHNNY & SCOTT

- Search for "XXX50" for anything that MUST be done before 5.0 release
- Search for "TODO50" for anything that SHOULD be doen before 5.0 release

- Update 4.7.8 manual to reflect changes to 5.0. - JOHNNY
- Download - to include version 5.0
- Find all the download links and use the better form - like what Johnny has used for manual download on front page - SCOTT
- Prepare some instructions for what to do to upgrade to 5.0 for previous users (e.g. change configuration settings, move data files as necessary, clear old .xci files from system). - JOHNNY
- Update wiki ---> or maybe create a list of items to be done there and a call-out to other users/developers to help do the grunt work. - SCOTT
