Known Issues

Turning the unit off whilst a Bluetooth connection is active results in a system freeze necessitating a reset.

  • This was fixed in the 1.10 ROM upgrade.

Bluetooth connection may be dropped if data is read from the SD card.

  • This is unresolved. As a workaround, any data used by XCSoar or other programs relying on a Bluetooth connection should be stored in the main memory or on a CompactFlash card.

Opinions

Simon Taylor, User

I used the H2210 with a bluetooth GPS on two occasions before ditching it for the H3850, primarily because of poor readability in direct sunlight. A reasonable general purpose Pocket PC, but its recessed buttons and fiddly, fragile 'arrow keys' make it troublesome to use in flight.

Sunlight Readability: Poor contrast and difficult to discern colours. Usable at a stretch. Anti-glare screens such as the BoxWave ClearTouch might improve matters, but I didn't test.
