Selecting COM port and BAUD rate
From System Setup (default buttons = Config, Config, System Setup) you can select the COM ports and BUAD rate of your GPS and/or vario input.
- COM1 - standard com port via the docking cable of most Pocket PCs
- COM2-5 - Often used for external devices, Bluetooth devices, CF cards, built in etc
- BAUD 4800 is standard
- BAUD 2400 often used by Bluetooth devices
- BAUD 19200, 38400 etc also possibilities
Unfortunately there is no way to automatically detect COM and BAUD. This is something that may be solvable, but not yet.

Hardware Buttons seem to still load Camera or Record, how do I disable them?
Unfortunately the low level hardware buttons (like Record) are controlled by the operating system and are hard to take over in XCSoar. One solution is to disable their function in Buttons in the Pocket PC Control Panels.
