The Unofficial XCSoar Manual
Advanced:Status
From XCSoar
Status files are how you control the output of XCS. Advanced:InputEvents are used to control the input or triggered events withi XCS. Once that event has been triggered you control what happens with Status.
A glide computer event such as reaching your Turn Pont may also trigger a status event such as showing you a Text Message and playing a sound.
More importantly these status entries can be controlled by having them stay until acknowledged, or automatically disappear.
