XCSoar - Hardware
You will need two bits of hardware. A computer (aka PDA, PNA or PC) and a data source (aka Vario, GPS). Some PDAs already have a built in GPS.
Computer
- Windows PC or Laptop
- (coming soon) Linux and Mac via Wine
- PDA: Pocket PC - Microsoft Windows CE/Pocket PC
- PNA: Personal navigation assistant, which often run a cut down Pocket PC

Other devices such as iPhone, Symbian, Palm and Linux (Android) are not yet supported.
Data source
- GPS with serial NMEA output
- GPS with Bluetooth connection
- Loggers: Volkslogger, FLARM, many other varios
- Special devices: FLARM, Varios (Cambridge, Vega)
